Meet Jacklyn Bennett
As a policyholder’s advocate, Jacklyn concentrates her practice of law on representing policyholders in disputes with their insurance companies. Jacklyn specializes in insurance litigation, focusing on residential & commercial insurance claim disputes, bad faith claims, and construction defect claims. By working with hundreds of homeowners recovering from catastrophe, her passion for this area of law has strengthened, and she takes pride in the fact that she is truly helping homeowners in their most desperate times of need. She is known for her strategic approach and hard work ethic in handling every case to expedite the claim and litigation.
When not working for her clients, she enjoys spending time with her two children and traveling.

Meet Damian Hunt
Damian graduated from Florida International University College of Law in 2018 with a certificate in Intellectual Property Law. During his time at FIU, Damian was a founding member of the World Arbitration and Mediation Review, Vice President of the International Law Students Association, Director of Marketing and Advocacy for the Environmental Law Society, Public Relations Officer for the Intellectual Property Student Association, and a member of the International Arbitration Team and the Negotiations Team. Damian’s legal writings have been published in the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s (AIPLA) INNOVATE magazine. Damian has also had his creative writing published in Florida State University’s Kudzu Review.
He enjoys spending time with his dog, watching Florida State football, and exploring local Florida history. His current practice focuses on representing policyholders in residential and commercial insurance disputes.

Meet Cheri Tanenbaum
Cheri Tanenbaum is the bookkeeper/ office manager at JB Construction Law. Cheri has expertise in all areas of accounting and office practices, including benefits administration and payroll. Some of her accomplishments include drafting an employee handbook, setting up accounting systems for start-up companies and implementing office procedures. She has a special talent for making people feel comfortable and a quick wit.
Cheri enjoys dancing, live music, long walks, dabbling in interior design, and spending time with her dog.

Meet Jarod Fuller
Jarod Fuller is the legal assistant at JB Construction Law. Over the past decade he has worked in telecommunications and bank financing, servicing the Florida and Georgia community. During his time in telecom and finance, Jarod used his interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and conflict resolution skills to provide the best solutions and services to businesses and consumers alike. His experience has proved helpful in assisting policyholders when disaster strikes home. He strives to give peace of mind during the process.
While away from the office, Jarod enjoys spending time with both his son and dog. He is an avid golfer and sports enthusiast.
